First beauty favourites of the year. I love favourites because you know the person genuinely likes it and maybe it’s something that I might like.
Fresh – Sugar Lip Polish
You all know what this does. This one is particularly tasty, just incase you accidentally eat a little bit. It smells a little bit like a mojito so I can pretend I’m on a beach drinking one. It does exactly what it says on the tin and I love it for it. This time of year is not kind to my lips, this keeps them alive.
Essie Gel Couture
Where have these been my whole life. The brush is quite literally perfect, I’ve never known a brush make painting so easy. Even the worse painter in the world could make their nails look like they’d had a flippin good manicure. It dries quickly. It took 5 days to chip and when I say chip I mean a nibbles of polish off the tips. It’s glossy and this particularly colour is and grey/taupe fans dream. Excuse me while I go buy some more. I’ve also tested the top coat on varnish that chips really quickly and I’m super impressed to see that it helps those last longer too.
Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation
I’ve had this sat in my to use box for far too long and could kick myself that I haven’t picked it up sooner. I’ve very much switched from my usual love of matte foundation to healthy glowing foundations. Not the kind that make you look wet but the subtle radiant type. I think this is beautiful. It’s easy to use, compact for on the go and lasts pretty well. You will love it if you like a natural – dewy foundation. Light to medium coverage.
Guerlain – La Petite Robe Noire – 011 Beige lingerie
I may have secretly picked this up for the packaging because its so cute, but I am so glad I did. My god it is easy to wear and so beautiful. The colour is a nude pink, because you know I’ve not got many of those. The smell is so delicious and it’s beautiful and balmy and glossy. If you like, subtle colour, balmy nourishing textures with gorgeous gloss but not sticky and glittery then this will be right up your street. It’s not overly long lasting but you don’t even need a mirror to apply so it’s no big deal.
Let me know what you’ve been loving this month I love recommendations.
