The Dyson Hair Dryer

The Dyson hair dryer, where do I start. I’m gonna go there and say it, I would never of justified buying this for myself. I would have always spent the money else where. Unless I suddenly became rich and had money to burn, but that’s a whole level of dream world.

John surprised me for Christmas and I was over the moon.

Dyson Say

“The Small, powerful Dyson digital motor V9 is, on average, 6 times faster than other hair dryer motors. Combined with Air Multiplier technology, it produces a high-pressure, high-velocity jet of controlled air, for fast drying and precision styling.”

“No other hair dryer is faster. No extreme heat, Engineered for different hair types”.

For more technology check out their website.

Closer Look

It comes with 3 speed settings. A cold shot button. 3 heat settings. A box full of different nozzles to tailor to your needs. A smoothing nozzle, Dyson say “delivers wide, smoother airflow for a smoother finish”. Re-engineered Styling concentrator, Dyson say ” wider and thinner for precision styling”. Re-engineer Diffuser, Dyson say ” More even diffusion to help define curls and reduce frizz”.

Thoughts

Genuinely it dries my hair so much faster. You can control the heat level and even without it on a high heat setting it still dries your hair quickly. The blast of air is noticeably powerful and you don’t really need the heat because of that. I will admit I like the warmth of a hair dryer so prefer a little heat. Cold air/ air-conditioning nah hate it.

I have a medium thickness of hair that is fairly damaged and recovering from being over processed and over use of extreme heat. It has a lot of frizz and a medium curl to it. I like smooth sleek straight hair. I am able to dry my hair smooth and sleek within 10minutes using just the Dyson hair dryer, a round brush and a couple of products. I only need to use straighteners if I’m going for super sleek for a night out.

Finally

I’ve been using the Dyson hair dryer now for 4 months and I honestly wouldn’t want to be without it. My old hair dryer was burning my hair and making it snap off. I had and accident where the old dryer melted my carpet it was that ridiculously hot. My hair is dramatically recovering from all the heat damage. I can style it exactly how I want it and it’s so quick and easy. I do find my hair a little tricky so that’s something to bare in mind.

If you have easy to manage hair or only really rough dry then potentially a waste. However if you’ve damaged hair that requires styling I really do think it’s one to think about. It is expensive but if it was taken away from me I’d 100% find the money to get another.

Let me know if you’ve tried the Dyson Hair Dryer and let me know what you think.
