Red lipstick isn’t for everyone. If you’re anything like me then you just can’t get enough. Red might be a little bit bold and out there, but it can suit any personality and brings so much fun to any look.
Don’t get yourself in a pickle when you apply. Be confident, line your lips first, fill in the rest and your red lip will be perfect.
Pick the tone of red that suits you. I tend to lean towards an orang/red. I feel this suits best but I’m quite partial to a deep red, a post box red and now and again a pinky red. Enough chatting, here are my faves.
Close Ups
Some of my favourites on so you can get a feel for them in action. They all have an easy to work with formula, are comfortable to wear and most important can stand up to a fair amount. They last well and look gorgeous.
Mac – Lady Danger
A bright coral matte red. Long lasting formula from MAC.
Tom Ford – Wild Ginger
Much more red orange, bright and bold. Not matte but not too glossy. This is probably my favourite red lipstick of all time. Shhh don’t tell the others.
Clinique Pop – Passion Pop
Red with a pinky under tone but not too pinky. Comfortable to wear, long wearing and a natural finish.
Bite – Persimmon
Orange/red. Extremely bright. Natural finish. Long wearing not drying.
