Food

It was with out a doubt incredible. But I’m going to get in there straight away and say couple of items on the menu weren’t things I like to eat It was a toss between cod with muscles and pigeon (I’m not sure of muscles or pigeon)

Starting the meal with some little quaver like yumminess and then straight into one of the best things “crab sticks and scones” The crab part was to die for and the cheese scone, my god I have never eaten a scone like it. Absolutely insane. I’m still dreaming about it months later.

We went different on the next courses, there were two option to choose from for each course. I did end up tasting the pigeon and it was actually really good.

Scallops were another stand out dish and I love how they were presented, not forgetting some additional bread to mop up the sauce. Who knew that was a thing but I am so here for it. Perhaps it’s a Cornish thing.

Pre desert was fun with a cheeky boozy accompaniment. Cheese was so different but geez they know what they are doing. It came with apple pie and it was so good I dived in before snapping a picture. It seems to be a reoccurring theme for the cheese course, basically if there’s cheese I’m there.

Pudding is so cute with its presentation and was delicious. I’m a cake kinda girl so I loved the addition of the madeleines

Final Thoughts..

Really worth a visit if you’re a foodie. I did find the odd course a little way out so something to bear in mind, but the food was faultless. The service was spot on and I loved all the little touches like the art work and the names on the menu. It shows attention to detail and care and thought to what they’re offering.
