FaceLITE LED is my new addition to Rachieroo Treatments retail offering. Here’s all the reasons why it’s a favourite and why you might love it too.
We all have such busy lives, although things have very much slowed down. People are more conscious of self-care and actually taking time to look after themselves. Sometimes a trip to the salon isn’t always possible, time and money being big factors so alternatives are always welcome. It’s not often I recommend at home devices, don’t even get me started on those at home needling kits. They often aren’t as powerful or don’t perform anything like a salon treatment. That aside FaceLite home LED has gone through many clinical trials and really is a great device. They are so great I have started stocking them at the salon.
The Device
It’s portable, It’s easy to use, easy to clean. Offers clinically proven wave lengths and does exactly what it’s supposed to. One thing I will say is please don’t just buy any old Amazon LED with coloured lights that have no evidence to doing anything. You’re not a Christmas tree. The difference between these and something like Dermalux salon devices is the out put. No this doesn’t mean no results it just means it will take longer and a few more treatments.
FaceLITE offers red and near infrared lights. Clinically proven wavelengths of light 633nm (red) and 830nm (near infra-red). No blue light, however I don’t think this is a bad thing as it’s best used with a therapist.
There is no down time and it offers short treatment time of 10 minutes. For best results use 3-5 days a week for a minimum of 4 weeks. Then continue with maintenance treatments. If you have already had a course in salon you would be using it at home for maintenance and wouldn’t need to use as frequently. You’ll be able to judge what your skin needs.
Benefits
Red light reaches the Dermis and boosts metabolic energy to stimulate cell renewal, stimulate collagen and elastin production and increase hydration. Great for restoring skins vitality.
Near Infrared reaches the Subcutaneous Layer and gives advanced rejuvenation benefits, calms redness and irritation and helps to reduce pigmentation. It is also healing which is great for someone with blemish scaring.
Thoughts
We already know I love it. But to summarise it’s a real great at home top up to go along side salon treatments. You can use LED along side most treatments (always check with your therapist first). To get the same results as a salon you would require more treatments. The best bit it does genuinely work, I’ve seen great results myself and had great feedback from clients. I love that it helps me to maintain healthy skin, clears up blemish marks and best of all I’m getting a little bit of antiageing too. FaceLITE is available to purchase through my salon here.
