A Few Current Favourites

Why not stick a favourites in the middle of the month just because I can’t wait until the end.

Lets start with a newbie because I’m like a magpie when it comes to new beauty. Dior Show Bold Brow. If you have fairly good brows that you want to perfect, or your brows are pale and you need a little colour to pick them up. If you want to add colour and texture to your brows, or keep them in place if they’re a little wild. This will definitely be for you. Reasons to love it, the wand is small a precise. The colour is natural. There isn’t too much product or too little. It doesn’t give you super crispy brows and the wear time is pretty awesome. Ready to run out and buy it yet? I was quite happy with Benefit Gimme Brow until I met this, it has completely turned my head.

A super oldie but great non the less. Clinique Cheek Pop in 02 Peach Pop. Errm bit of a mouthful. I’m not gonna lie to you (please say with a welsh accent like Nessa in Gavin and Stacey) it looks scary as anything in the pot. There is plenty of pigment going on so you don’t need to scrape at the product. It does however look summery and pretty. This is a great warmer weather product, the colour suits the mood and it’s nice and long wearing for those of us that need an extra hand keeping things on in the warmer weather. You’ll love it if you like a gorgeous peachy glow.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% if you don’t get spots then firstly how the hell not, but secondly keep walking you won’t need this. If you’re struggling with a few or more spots then grab one of these. It’s cheap as chips, and really does work. It helps to balance sebum, reduces congestion and can brighten the skin. A couple of drops go a long way, if you get carried away things can get a bit sticky feeling. I love it so much I’m onto my second bottle. A little side note this isn’t an acne treatment but can help in some cases.

Who knew you needed a lip liner other than a red? I honestly thought it was madness going for a nude lip liner until I picked up the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. The colour is so universal you can use it with a whole host of nude lip products. The texture is soft and easy to use but not too soft that it won’t stand up to anything. It’s pretty hard wearing and doesn’t wither at the sight of a coffee. You’ll love it if you want to perfect your lip shape or define your lips. It looks pretty awesome on its own all over the lip with a little clear balm over the top. Use it to add definition or plump up your lip shape if you’re lacking a little.
