Kew Gardens

We headed to Kew Gardens for a wonder, a little time out and a nosey at all the beautiful plants.

For the days you can’t just jump on a plane to take some time out, find it just around the corner. Yes ok so I would rather be on a beach in the Caribbean relaxing, but for now this is just as beautiful.

The grounds are vast and beautiful with plenty to explore and ATM they have an orchid display it’s pretty unlike anything you’ve seen before. Forget our beloved house plant these will wipe the floor with them.

For now I’m gonna shut up and let the pictures do the talking.

Palm House

Starting in the Palm House, little warning its hot and humid and will make your hair frizzy if you have that kind of hair. This stays pretty much the same all year round, with the exception of a few seasonal plants.

There is a pretty rustic spiral staircase to take you up to the top. The prefect place to soak up the views.

On to the Orchid House

Honestly I have never seen anything like it. For that reason I more than recommend going if they have a special display on. Every shape and colour of orchid you can think of all under a roof or two. Displays shaped to all kinds of beautiful things and pretty having delights.
