Real Techniques have really turned up the heat, thats right girls the Complexion Sponge family has expanded and it’s a whole load of excitement. You probably don’t need them all but who the hell am I kidding, of course you need them all and I’m about to give you all the justification you need.
Original
Starting with the original, it is pretty much multi purpose, foundation, concealer, powder, cream products you can work everything with this. I don’t know about you but I find it a complete fuss if i’m trying to do several things with one tool, the sponge gets dirty and you just can’t get things looking as they should.
Mini eraser sponges
Perfectly sized for the smaller areas of your face, such as under the eyes. They are a great size for getting into little corners. The flat edge is great for packing on loose powder to do an under eye bake or for more controlled precision pressing powder in to set your make up. You can use these little cute sponges wet or dry.
Sculpting Sponge
As indicated in the name it’s the one that’s gonna help you sculpt the hell out of your face, if you’re a contour kinda girl. The smaller bobble of the sponge is great for precise liquid highlighter application. It’s my favourite partner with the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops.
Bold Metals Diamond Sponge
Last but not least the Bold Metals Diamond Sponge. I’m gonna go as far as saying this is the best, purely because it wowed me the most. The pointed tip may look a bit scary and useless but all I’m gonna say is use it with concealer under your eyes, you won’t be disappointed. It almost spreads the product like butter, it’s brilliant. The large flat edge is a great size to press in product for larger areas of your face and you have all kinds of different angles for sculpting or working product into smaller areas.
I’m really pleased with all the new additions, they are an affordable price point as well which I love.
Let me know if you’ve tried them and what you think.
