Sometimes you’ve gotta go a little crazy, and that sometimes is when you’re in Sephora. Ok so it happened I was in America, I hit Sephora 3 times and let’s not tell any lies here things got a little out of control.
Im not going to bore you with an over view of everything because let’s face it no one wants to sit here for hours reading. But here’s what I got, the things I love, the things that are good and the ones that haven’t really wowed me.
The I love it can’t fault it, not even a little bit products
I love them but they have faults:
These colour correctors from Urban Decay are brilliant do not get me wrong, my only criticism is they a little thicker than the Dior Fix It colour correctors making them a little harder to work with if you are going to layer concealer or foundation over the top. They just require a bit more effort to get them looking perfect.
Beautiful products but I only use the two on the right hand side the other two are a little too dark for me and my super pale skin.
Ok I can’t really fault these two but I didn’t need them not even a little bit (don’t tell anyone but I have them both in a Benefit cheek palette, oops) I just got sucked in because they are mini and cute and I clearly was waiting in the queue for too long.
I love this so much, it literally makes me smile, but out of 3 Sephora’s I could only find this colour and its just a little too dark for me. I can make it work but one of the other colours would have been better.
The pump and lid combo is flippin brilliant, the bit I don’t like is the smell. It’s not offensive in anyway I just prefer skincare to be less fragranced. I know I’m so fussy.
This brush works well but just not as well as my MAC 224 and if I am being really critical it was pretty pricey for an eye shadow brush and it’s not exactly anything special on the looks front.
The ones I’m on the fence with
The colour of this is so beautiful I love it, but I just can not bare how this drys your lips out. I am just not sure it is worth a week of scaly lips. It is however long wearing. You know it’s not a winner when your boyfriend says ‘that makes your lips look really dry’
I really wanted to love this because for the price tag it should make you look a million dollars. I probably have a perfect match but it makes me feel so pale, I could give Rob Pattinson a run for his money on the pale skin front when he plays Edward Cullen. What seemed to be the next shade up went from pale to I’ve been in the caribbean for a month. You need to have pretty perfect skin to wear it, the coverage is sheer. I don’t like it built up it makes it feel sticky and looks like you have put too much on. It is lovely but it’s not going to be for everyone.
I Hope this gives you some inspiration if you are heading to a Sephora soon.
