Find The Right Products For You

It’s so difficult when you are recommending products because you have to remember what’s right for you might not be right for someone else. Just because it works on my skin doesn’t mean it’s going to work on your skin. I try to always give reasons as to why I think a product is good so that you can understand how it works and if that is what you’re interested in. But i’ve got to admit I do sometimes get so sucked in by my excitement and I forgot. Now id love to be twins with you all and have the same likes and requirements but it’s just never gonna happen. So here are a few things to think about when searching for your recommendations.

Read lots of reviews.

Look for facts and ingredients, are you happy with them?

Has the person recommending got the same skin type?

What do I want, what’s right for them isn’t necessarily right for you.

Does the texture sound like what I like using?

Do I like the colours?

Are the benefits things that my skin needs?

Is there more to the review than this product is amazing I love it. Get the why’s.

Finally if you’re still unsure but curious and really just can’t decide head to your local counter to try it out, get a feel for the product after all that’s what the girls/guys are there for.

    Hey Rachieroo,

I’m getting on in years these days, the wrinkles are starting to form . In the past, I have found 2 X amazing foundations, one a spray/mousse and the other a cream/mousse, both of which were delisted over time…. Gutted! I’m not the sort of person to go up to a Beauty counter and, as such, I now have “loads” of foundation bottles that will never see daylight (and I’m still not happy with the ones I’m trying to get by on!).

I have pale, dry(ish) skin, do you think I will ever fall for another foundation ever again?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Billie

Thanks for your comment Bill I will have a think and let you know. My first thought is the Dior spray foundation that I can’t for the life of me remember its name. It’s light weight but builds to a medium coverage, fairly natural but has more of a liquid texture so it works into the skin. I’ll think of a couple that might suit
