There might be a million foundations on the market yes, but Clinique have upped the anti with their latest launch. Introducing Beyond Perfecting the 2 in 1 foundation concealer.
The details… Beyond Perfecting foundation is a moderate to full coverage with up to 12 hours wear. It’s available in 21 shades and is suitable for all skin types. The finish is natural, not too dewy or too matte. The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a magic wand applicator to distribute the exact amount of foundation needed for a flawless face.
I picked up a bottle from my local Clinique counter and have used nothing else since. The texture of the foundation is fairly thick, but blends beautifully into the skin. Its very well pigmented and gives brilliant coverage. My poor concealer has been made redundant, it really is not required. For me I feel the coverage is definitely full, it is not cakey and feels super light weight on your skin. It lasts very well and with my super oily skin doesn’t slide all round my face or get eaten up. A pro for me is it has no SPF which makes it great for photos, for the SPF lover you may be a little disappointed by its lack of.
My only criticism is I wish they did a lighter shade. I have number 2 Alabaster, the lightest shade, which is great however it technically is a tiny bit too dark for me so requires major blending around the jaw line to avoid any crazy lines.
